It contains 4 % triterpenes, melanin and betulinic acid. ☯ Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is a vital mushroom rich in bioactive components polysaccharides – beta 1, 3/1, 6 glucans, terpenes, polyphenols, sterols, melanins, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals and vitamins. It contains 4 % triterpenes and betulinic acid. ☯ About the vital mushroom Chaga: ☯ Chaga in powder form (powder/biomass) is produced by the company MycoMedica by grinding the dried fruiting body of the mushroom into a very fine powder using a special shellbroken method, during which the chitin cell wall is disrupted and bioactive substances are released. Compared to the extract, this form has a gentler effect. ☯ Chaga (Chaga Mushroom, Inonotus obliquus) is a parasitic mushroom originating from Russian Siberia. Chaga can be found on deciduous trees, mainly birches. Chaga forms fruiting bodies up to 35 centimetres in size. ☯ Chaga is rich in a large amount of bioactive substances, vitamins and minerals. It also contains melanin, triterpene compounds betulin and betulinic acid. ☯ From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, it nourishes Gan (Liver system), Xin (Heart system) and Pi (Spleen). It supports defensive Qi and removes Du (toxicity) and Shi Re (damp heat) from the organism. According to some sources, it can also break up Xue Yu (blood stasis). In its activity it is very similar to the mushroom Coriolus (Turkey Tail, Coriolus versicolor, Trametes versicolor), however its activity is targeted more towards the digestive system. ☯ Learn more about Chaga here.
