Use: ⬥ Light the moxa (e.g ⬥ with a lighter or candle) at one end until it starts to glow – it should burn evenly ⬥ Prepare an ashtray or moxa holder, or a metal holder ⬥ Bring the glowing end of the moxa close to the selected acupuncture point or area of the body (usually 2–3 cm from the skin) ⬥ Hold the moxa above the area and perceive the heat – the skin should feel pleasantly warm, never burning ⬥ Monitor the temperature to avoid skin burns ⬥ You can hold the moxa in one spot or gently circle or move along the meridian ⬥ Hold the moxa at one point for approximately 5–10 minutes or until mild reddening of the skin ⬥ Safely extinguish the moxa (preferably in a moxa extinguisher or sand) ⬥ Do not touch the hot end ⬥ Apply 2 – 3 x daily
Warning ⬥ Use the product exclusively under supervision Never leave burning or smoldering moxa unattended ⬥ Use exclusively on a non-flammable surface and away from flammable materials ⬥ Ash from the moxa stick may fall off – ensure it does not fall onto the skin (risk of burns) or onto a flammable surface (risk of fire) ⬥ After use, always make sure the stick is completely extinguished – ideally in sand or a moxa extinguisher ⬥ Supervise children and pets during application ⬥ Do not use in case of severe fatigue, intoxication, psychological agitation or on an empty stomach ⬥ For pregnant women, consultation with a specialist is always necessary ⬥ Do not use on overheated, injured or inflamed skin ⬥ In persons with reduced sensitivity (e.g. diabetics), carefully monitor skin reactions – risk of burns ⬥ This product does not replace medicines or medical treatments ⬥ Storage: Store in a cool and dry place
